Raising Resources
United Way's mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of the community. One of the ways we do this is by raising dollars to support dozens of community programs and initiatives that address the underlying cause of problems in Escambia County.
The 2007-2008 Campaign raised more than $2.8 million.
Annual Campaign

Red Feather Fellowship
Learn more about Red Feather Fellowship giving and recognition opportunities. The Red Feather Fellowship is a division of the Leaders in Giving Society.
Emerging Leaders Society
The Emerging Leaders Society recognizes donors ages 18 to 40 who contribute a minimum of $365 ($1 a day or more) annually.
Tocqueville Society
A recognition society for donors giving more than $10,000 annually.
United Way Foundation
The Foundation special fund created by donors through wills, bequests, trusts and outright gifts to ensure the financial stability of United Way into the future.
External Grant Funding
Just over $500,000 in grants were received from July through December 2005 to "provide assistance to victims of recent storms on the Gulf Coast".
